Hello good people,

For those of you who may be interested, I’d like to update you on what’s been going on in the world of Rash Records over the last few months.

Well, we’re still going strong, putting on FREE gig nights every Wednesday and Friday at the Pilgrim. We’d like to thank everyone who has played, everyone who has come to watch and everyone who supports Rash Records and what we’re about. It’s greatly appreciated.

We’re going to be working closely with the brilliant people at Fluid Live Lounge in St Helens. We have a Rash Records showcase, whichwill take place on Saturday 19th September. Confirmed acts include: The Silk Pigs, In By Ones, The Stawt, Hummer and Oswald. There may even be a set by our very own Superstar DJ, Brandon Webb. We hope that this will be the first of many gigs at Fluid.

In July, The Silk Pigs were invited to play ‘Liquid Nation’, London’s newest and coolest music venue. As ever, the Pigs played with honesty, integrity and stylistic understanding. Basically, they were fuckin’ quality and showed them lot ‘down souf’ how to really put on a performance.

More recently, the Silk Pigs have featured on BBC radio…….yet again!

On 20th July, their single, ‘In Tents Humming’ was featured on and even opened Tom Robinson’s ‘Introducing’ show on BBC 6 music.Mr Robinson loved the single so much, he played it again on the show on 8th August.

Due to the BBC’s obvious love of the Silk Pigs, they have been invited to play a live session and be interviewed by BBC radio in Manchester. No date has been confirmed, but we hope this will be happening within the next couple of weeks. We will let everyone know as soon as we find out.
So what does the future hold for Rash Records?
